Pallet trucks or forklifts are work vehicles designed to transport goods on pallets. They consist of two forks (made of steel – most often), connected to a central arm, on which special hooks are placed as a steering wheel for the driver to manipulate.
Pallet trucks or forklifts can be of various sizes and categories at corresponding prices, each:
● With classic (1150mm) but also long (1800mm) or short (800mm or 1000mm) forks. Capable of withstanding a payload, usually up to 2500 Kg maximum as well as lifting capacity up to 3500 mm (depending on the model)
● Electric pallet trucks or forklifts
● Hydraulic manual pallet trucks or lifts
Their use is widely applied in the industrial and commercial sector, in small as well as large companies. They are only suitable for the transport of materials and goods over short distances.
